Blouse with front twist

Let's draft the pattern for this stunning blouse. It is a simple one yet has a front detail that spices the style up.

You can sew it in any light to medium weight fabric as cotton popeline, silk faille...just find something that holds a bit the front shape for highlighting the knot effect.

Step 1

Start by tracing a copy of your basic block without darts with at least 10cm ease at bust. Straighten the side seam from armhole to hipline to have it loose at waist.

Step 2

Raise back shoulder line by 2cm and drop front shoulder by matching 2cm.

Lengthen both shoulder lines outwards by 8 to 12cm.

Step 3

Drop shoulder point by 2cm and redraw the last part of shoulder line rounding it a bit.
