Corset with scalloped cups

Let's draft the pattern for this short denim corset with scalloped cups.

It's an easy make if you are new to corsets. If you want to deepen the topic, the instructions to draft a corset with cups are available here.

Step 1

Start from a contoured bodice (block with darts and zero wearing ease), draw the underbust line dropping from bust point as half of breasts distance minus 2cm.

Widen waist dart so that it is 3cm wide all the way to underbust, then shaoe it as a rocket to bust point.

Step 2

Draw the cup whose radius is half of breasts distance -2cm.

For the side, use radius +1cm. If you add an underwire, we suggest to use it to true the shape and find the neckline.

Draw back neckline by merging front and back at side seam.

Step 3

Draw the cup by using the same radius you calculated before, but add 1cm towards center and downwards and add 3cm towards side seam.

Measure up from bust point 5 to 8cm according to the coverage you want, then draw scallops.
