Let's draft the pattern for this bridal dress.
It has a wide off shoulder neckline with puffed sleeves and gathered bodice, fitted waistband and flared skirt with high-low hem.
You can sew it in any light to medium weight fabric.
Start from a basic dress with darts.
Separate bodice and skirt by cutting on waistline.
On skirt, square down from dart apex and cut through the lines.
Make darts even on back and front, then close them to open a matching volume at hem.
Add 10 to 15cm at hem on side to balance the flare.
Trace a copy of front and back skirt with the new volume.
Join front and back skirt at side, then draw the high – low hemline.
