Style analysis: the top has a corset construction with panels and cups, wide shoulder straps and a sweetheart neckline, with a very feminine design. The fitted style and cropped length make it a fashionable choice for casual or semi-formal wear.
Fabric: this top features a vibrant blue and white pattern reminiscent of traditional tile designs. The pattern includes intricate floral and geometric motifs, but would look great also in solid color. Look for a non stretch woven fabric as medium weight cotton and eventually add interlining where more structure is needed (i.e. in the bridge = part in between cups). We suggest lightweight cotton as lining.
First, draft or trace your contoured bodice (=bodice block with darts and zero wearing ease).

Highlight underbust line and widen waist dart so that it is 3cm wide at underbust (3cm or measurement needed for underbust line measurement to match exactly your underbust circumference).
Drop armpit point by 2cm and shorten shoulder line by 2cm, then redraw armhole on both front and back.
Cut through the new armhole line.
On both front and back, from new armhole measure 3 or 4cm inwards along shoulder line. This is shoulder strap width.
On back, draw shoulder strap shape almost parallel to upper part of armhole, then continue the line curving it a bit and ending on waist dart.
Redraw waist dart changing its shape a bit to follow the slash line.
Draw shoulder strap on front almost parallel to upper part of armhole, stopping about 7 to 10cm above bust level.
