Trace a copy of back and front separate.
First, adjust length 10 to 15cm above the knee. Drop armpit point by 6 to 8cm and move it outwards by 3 to 4cm to increase wearing ease.
An interesting pattern that is perfect to be used with a special fabric, either with a bold print or texture, given the minimum number of seam lines. Scalloped lace on edges of a solid color also looks great! Just pay attention to pick something lightweight and drapey.
To draft the pattern, start from a copy of your basic dress with darts and 10cm ease at bust, with matching sleeve.
Trace a copy of back and front separate.

Then raise back neckline and shoulder line by 2cm and drop front shoulder line by 2cm, then redraw armholes and erase waist darts.
Trace a copy of the new shapes of back and front and draw the deep V neckline from new high shoulder point to center front (3 to 5cm below bust line).
Measure armhole line on back and front and note down the measurements.
